(m): Child element can be used multiple times.

Description:

Provides the framework for a field description.

Restrictions:

None

Notes:

If outputmode="newxml" in the GET_FEATURES request, then in the FEATURES response, FIELDS has no attributes but has FIELD as a child element:

If outputmode="xml" in a GET_FEATURES request, then in the FEATURES response, FIELDS has attributes describing all feature fields. Names of the attributes coincide with the names of the fields.

The field names #SHAPE# and #ID# are reserved for the shape column and unique feature ID, respectively.
The value returned for dates is the number of milliseconds since 1970-01-01 00:00:00 GMT.
